During the 2010s, László Bocsárdi directed several performances that explored the existential problems of Generation Y. He finds dramatic texts in contemporary Polish and Catalan drama literature that are less known to Hungarian audiences in Romania. The university exam performance in Târgu Mureș, based on Sergi Belbel’s play Death, Just a Moment Before Death, is also the first Hungarian-language staging of the play. In the creation of the performance, in addition to the entire graduating acting class, five second-year acting students, as well as the entire second-year set design and entire dramaturgy class, the first- and third-year choreography students, and two students from the music pedagogy department participated. While collaboration is not uncommon on the Studio Stage, joint work involving entire classes and all programs—that is, the complete student community’s collaboration—is indeed exceptional.
