This paper presents an analysis and reconstruction of a 1973 theatre performance using the Philther method. The Maids directed by Gábor Bódy was a metatheatrical theatre experiment that was unnoticed by the critics and professionals of the time, but its impact – especially on the performances of the Szentkirályi Workshop later – is clearly visible from 2023.
