The performance of the Grange Theatre (Tanyaszínház) of Vojvodina, entitled Wayfinders (Útkeresők), which was produced on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the company’s existence and the 200th anniversary of the birth of the poet Sándor Petőfi, replaced the dilemmas of the Hungarian population—primarily the young adults—of Vojvodina, about leaving their homeland with the dilemmas of Petőfi, who left his rural community but wanted to do something for it. In addition to the well-known elements of Petőfi myths, it used the structures of traditional dramaturgy and the topos of classical comedies to express the relationship between the artists and the community of the Tanyaszínház, the most embedded cultural institution in Hungarian society of Vojvodina.
